Exhaust air scrubbers for electroplating
Vertical or horizontal exhaust air scrubbers for integration into your ventilation system
Exhaust air scrubbers in electroplating are devices that clean and discharge the exhaust air from electroplating processes. In electroplating, metal layers are deposited onto substrates to protect them, decorate them or impart other functional properties.
The selection of a suitable exhaust air scrubber depends on various factors, including the type of electroplating processes, the chemicals used and the volume of exhaust air to be discharged. We develop exhaust air scrubbers from special resistant plastics, PP or PVC, which operate in acidic, alkaline and chemically aggressive environments.
Function of exhaust air scrubbers in electroplating:
Exhaust air scrubbers remove particles from the exhaust air generated during the electroplating process. Depending on the chemicals used in the baths, harmful gases may be produced. To absorb and neutralise these gases, an exhaust air scrubber is installed in the exhaust air system.
To this end, the scrubber is equipped with various filter and cleaning systems, which reliably remove the harmful substances from the exhaust air. For example, through chemical absorption, adsorption or physical filtration.
The use of exhaust air scrubbers in electroplating helps to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and thus reduces the release of pollutants into the atmosphere. This ensures that production is as environmentally friendly as possible.
