Wastewater collection station for chemically contaminated laboratory wastewater
ECA
Intuitive operation:
You select the desired tank in the wastewater collection station using the selector switch; the motorised ball valve opens, allowing the line to be filled. The corresponding indicator light (green) signals that the tank is ready for filling. Reaching the maximum fill level is indicated by the red indicator light and the motorised ball valve closes automatically. The container can then be removed from the waste water collection station and emptied. Whilst the first container is being disposed of, it is possible to switch to filling the second container.
The mode of operation and control are identical. If the selector switch is set to the ‘Off’ position or the power supply to the wastewater collection station is interrupted, both motorised ball valves close via a spring-return motor and all indicator lights go out.
Maintenance of wastewater collection stations:
You should check the proper functioning of the level sensors quarterly by using the potentiometer to readjust the desired switching distance or sensitivity.
The wastewater collection station is inserted into the base cabinet. A shared connection socket, d=50 mm (PVC), is provided for the wastewater connection. The collection tanks are secured in the mounting frame.
