Compact heat recovery unit with integrated supply air system for schools, small and medium-sized industrial facilities, and large laboratories
The role of plastic heat exchangers:
Due to the implementation of current thermal insulation regulations for buildings, rooms are becoming increasingly airtight, meaning that fresh air no longer flows naturally into the rooms. When extracting fumes from hazardous substance cabinets or even when switching on a fume cupboard, negative pressure builds up very quickly. Escape routes are obstructed by doors that are difficult to open. The exhaust air monitoring system for the fume cupboards triggers an alarm.
Solution:
Compact heat recovery with integrated ventilation for schools and large laboratories, with a requirement for 1–3 fume cupboards and/or continuously ventilated hazardous substance cabinets.
The system consists of the following components:
Cross-flow heat exchanger made of PE
Speed-controlled supply air fan
Supply air filter
Hot water heating coil
Thermostat control valve
Filter monitoring by means of differential pressure monitoring, with signal contact
Pressure drop
Exhaust air: 350 Pa at 1,500 m³/h,
270 Pa at 680 m³/h
Weight: 67 kg
MKW-1500:
Heat exchanger with a capacity of 200–1,500 m3/h. For schools, small and medium-sized industrial facilities or laboratories, in combination with a silencer and ML centrifugal fan.
