Laboratory roof fans

MDL roof fan Laboratory roof fans made of plastic

Laboratory roof fans MDL

High-performance roof fans for hospitals, laboratories or schools

Sing suction fans made of plastic for uncompromising use in the chemical industry with aggressive, acid-containing exhaust air, as found e.g. in laboratories in research.

Special features:

MDL series laboratory exhaust fans for roof mounting are optimised for exhaust systems with airflows up to approx. 3,600 m³/h and pressures up to approx. 3,000 Pa, with plastic impellers up to approx. 1,600 Pa.
They are characterised by high efficiency and pressure-stable performance curves. Drive motors, designed for optimum efficiency, are therefore sufficient for all operating points on the performance curve.
The MDL series is a medium-pressure series, which has been specially designed for laboratory construction.

Materials of the fan housings:

The following materials are available for selection: PVC, PE, PPs, PVDF as well as the composite materials PVC/GFK, PP/GFK and PVDF/GFK.
For the impellers of the roof fans, the following materials are available: PVC, PP, PVDF, stainless steel and steel with hard rubber coating or coated version.

Housing and housing positions:

The housings of the laboratory roof-mounted exhaust fans “MDL” are deep-drawn up to size 315. From size 315, the housings are manufactured in a stable welded construction.

Type D:

High-performance laboratory roof fans made of plastic with direct drive. The impeller is mounted directly on the drive motor shaft.
